This is one of those videos that I wasn't planning on doing or one of those that I really didn't care that much for....that is until my NYC radio watch-dude JoyJeong15 requested I do a video about it. He was apparently following the developments of the EAS Test with a closer eye than I was, so he asked me why was the test such a failure? Thanks Joy for another video suggestion! Send a video suggestion/request/idea to my page and you will not encounter static on my YouTube page. In fact, you will if you fail to do so. lol So, something historic happened this past Wednesday. No it wasn't a huge bill getting out of Congress or a booming speech marking a historic event. It was a national EAS test. The test, I'm guessing, was initiated by executive order by the White House and President Barack Obama. For the first time in history, the US' history, the nation's emergency alert system would be put to a random test. The test was supposed to be initiated by utilizing virtually all types of broadcast media...cable, satellite, broadcast, TV, radio, etc. All media and every single TV and radio station in the US would participate. This wasn't like in 2009 during the US's transition of television stations to digital broadcasting affected only television stations that were broadcasting with analog signals...and those not operating on Low Power.
