With this video i want to present you my final graduation work done with abandoned children from "Zartonk-89" Non-Governmental Organization. Here are some definitions: 1."Occupational Therapy is the art and science of enabling engagement in everyday living, through occupation; of enabling people to perform the occupations that foster health and well-being; and of enabling a just and inclusive society so that all people may participate to their potential in the daily occupations of life" (Townsend & Polatajko, 2007, p. 372). 2."Expressive art therapy can be defined as drawing, painting, sculpture, play, music, movie, poetry, movement, and psychodrama" (storytelling, role play, etc...) (Synder, 1997). 3.Abandoned children are children who are not adequately cared for by their families, relatives, friends nor government or social agencies. They may be physically neglected: left alone, ignored, not properly fed or clothed, never washed, and force to live in filthy conditions. 	Ms. Yasuko Takenaga Art Ms. Yasuko Takenaga (1973-2011) Passed away with Age 37 years old on March 24th, 2011 Was born in Kitakyushu-city, Fukuoka, Japan Her mother's name is Fumiko and her fathers name is Wataru Takenaga. She was born as the first child. She had weak constitution, intellectual disability and speech impairment. She went through many surgeries and hospitalization for the long-term treatments. She graduated from Kitakyushu high school on 1991. In 1991 she was employed for one and half month. But she had to give up job because of her weak constitution. She enrolled to Keikouen, NGO for the persons with intellectual disability in Buzen-city, Fukuoka, Japan. She developed her talent of Art program with the support of Ms. Seiko Nakamine, art therapist of Keikouen. She enjoyed art program, craft, and Hippo therapy. She created many art pieces. Her main art pieces titles are "Butterfly" "Four Seasons" "Country with Angels" "Angel smile" "Slow peaceful village" Her personality was like angel as she draw.
