In this video I&amp;#39;m going to go through the pre-approval process with you, so you&amp;#39;ll see below the video I have my contact information and my website, so if you want to go to my website you can fill out a mortgage application form and it gets sent over to me and then I&amp;#39;ll call you and basically ask any questions that I need answered or I&amp;#39;ll give you a pre-approval amount; or, you can give me a call and we can go through the application over the phone or we can schedule a time to meet to discuss your options and the application. So, the information I will need is your Social Insurance Number -- I need this because I need to pull your credit to find out where it&amp;#39;s at, I need a 3 year history of your employment and I need to know if it&amp;#39;s salary, commission or self-employed. I need to know how much you make, your assets -- so say if you have RRSP&amp;#39;s in an account, I need to know the balance in there. Any liabilities, so any debts owing, any debts outstanding and your monthly payments going towards that.., any rental income you may have so any other properties that you own or any other mortgages you have to make payments on, if you have to pay alimony or child support or if it&amp;#39;s the opposite situation and you&amp;#39;re receiving that income in. Then from there on we will discuss your down payment and where that&amp;#39;s coming from and your options with that. Cheap mortgages have helped boost home sales modestly this year. Mortgage buyer Freddie Mac said Thursday that the rate on the 30-year loan dipped to 3.78 percent. That&amp;#39;s down from 3.79 percent last week and the lowest since long-term mortgages began in the 1950s. The average rate on 15-year fixed mortgage, a popular option for refinancing, held steady at 3.04, matching the record low hit last week. The average rate on the 30-year loan has been below 4 percent since early December. Lower rates are a key reason the housing industry is flashing signs of a recovery five years after the bubble burst. In April, sales of both previously occupied homes and new homes rose near two-year highs. Builders are gaining more confidence in the market, breaking ground on more homes and requesting more permits to build single-family homes later this year.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/td&gt;
