It began as a music video venture with a comical spoof on The Darkness and their song I Believe in a Thing Called Love. Due to the popularity of that video, DDTV has evolved into something greater. Over the years, a deeper concentration was then placed on comedy and the lighter side of life with sketches poking fun at the recently divorced Newlyweds Nick and Jessica ranging all the way to contemplating what teens would do with their last few minutes alive if they knew the world was coming to an end. DDTV has come a long way, and continues to strive to bring laughter to its audience.
DDTV was initially started by cousins Gene De Simone and Sean Da Silva. Later, Aaron Absats joined DDTV as a essential member behind the scenes working with the camera; however, recently, Aaron has taken his turn at comedy and is proving to be a definite asset to the skits and humor that is DDTV. Recently, actor Kyle Da Silva was added to the short list of cast members. Kyle can be seen in the fan favorite skit, "Dad, I'm Gay" and the upcoming skit "Dad, I'm a Wigger."
DDTV is a very unique production company. They do not use fancy sets or expensive equipment. What they have is simple and definitely one of a kind. They find their success in the funnies of every day life"
