	Vintage Panasonic clock radio - hi-fi FM audio This old Panasonic RC-6035 clock radio has excellent sound quality! The circuitry is all transistors and coils -- no ICs and no ceramic filters -- so the clarity and quality of the audio on both AM and FM is excellent. The 3" speaker is very well matched to the cabinet and even offers a good hint of bass response. The audio doesn't distort until I turn the volume 2/3rds of the way up (I turned it all the way up to the maximum during "Dancing In The Moonlight"). The flip-clock mechanism is neat to look at, too! 	AV-In capture on Aiptek A-HD+ camcorder (direct .MOV upload) Test of using the AV-In capture mode of the Aiptek A-HD+ flash camcorder. In AV-In capture mode there are no settings to change so if you don't like the results there is no way to "tweak" it. For a video source I used a Panasonic Hi-Fi Stereo VCR playing a commercially mastered video of the Arista Records 25th Anniversary celebration. This is the result of directly uploading the .MOV file that the Aiptek created on its flash drive. As you can see, YouTube re-encodes this file to its own low-quality format and the result is fuzzy video with lots of block noise and mono sound. If you follow this link, YouTube claims to be offering the "High Quality" version, but there is no actual improvement in video or audio quality UNLESS YOU HAVE ADOBE FLASH PLAYER VERSION 9 OR HIGHER!!!
