OST is short for Original/Official Soundtrack, which is simply the music score of either a movie, video game or any other media where music is used to enhance the experience. Do you download your OSTs or you own them physically? Both, but more of the latter; I only download OSTs that I wouldn't normally find anywhere else, like OSTs from GameBoy games for instance, just to name an example. I also collect OSTs, so I prefer to own them physically rather than downloading them. Plus, I have a bitter disliking of torrents, which is how most OSTs can be downloaded nowadays. Where do you get your OSTs from? From Play-Asia, CDJapan, VGMWorld, GameMusic, CDUniverse, and in rare occasions, Amazon. How often will you upload an OST? Whenever I have time to, but mostly as soon as I finish making videos for one. I will work with three at a time, including with requested OSTs. Can I request any video game OST? Sure. As long as I can find it, it can be done. I will actually buy the OST, as long as one was released, of course. If I can't find a physical copy of the OST, then I'll try to find it online. And if the Internets can't provide me one, then that's pretty much it. One can go as far as the Internet takes you... Do you upload video game music including in-game SFX? Normally, no - only if the OST includes such track, and maybe. Otherwise, I won't bother wasting time ripping the game's sound track with in-game SFX because 1) the focus of this channel are OSTs, 2) it's too much work, and 3) I am lazy. Can I request animé OSTs? Not at the moment or in any foreseeable future, sorry. I want to concentrate on uploading as much VG OSTs as I possibly can, so I think it would be best not to deviate from that goal. Besides, there are bound to be a few channels out there that provide animé OSTs. Can I request motion picture/movie OSTs? Definitely not. The main of this channel is video gaming music soundtracks, nothing more nothing less. I'm positive there are channels providing movie OSTs already around here. Must I subscribe to request an OST? Well, it's not a must, as I don't force people to subscribe like most do here on YouTube, but subscribers get priority. Not that a non-subscriber's request won't get done, though. So have that in mind. Could you share your OSTs with me? Well, that's what I'm doing, no? Now, if you're referring to me actually sending you the corresponding OST files, then sorry, but no. I think it's enough with me uploading them and taking requests. Do you mind if I self-promote in your videos and/or post "first comment"? Honestly, I do mind; however, I hate self-promotion more than I hate when someone posts a "first comment" comment. Still, that doesn't mean I hate the latter less and approve of it. In other words, refrain from doing either, as I feel strongly disdainful of each and won't think twice to block you and remove your comment. If your channel is for OSTs; why do you upload mostly select tracks? Because it would be rather superfluous to upload a track that's only a few seconds long. Granted, I will upload the occasional 20 to 30 second-long track, but mostly because they tend to be memorable. Moreover, these type of tracks aren't worth my time, so don't waste your time requesting any. Why do you reply to each comment you get in your videos? It's not like I'll be replying to every-single comment, but either way: Why shouldn't I...? Why are you tallying the videos you watch if YouTube does that automatically? Well, because YouTube isn't being that "automatic" about it (at least for me). Ever since December (2007) the 'videos watched' counter stopped counting videos regardless of how many I watched. Since I'm very anal about stuff, I started counting them myself; I contacted YouTube about it, but as per their replies, it seems they care shit about it, so I stopped wasting my time with them. I don't mind keeping count myself, anyways. Could you subscribe to me, I'll do so too? No. If what you have in your channel is interesting and, more importantly, is of my liking, I'll surely subscribe. But please, don't stoop so low as to asking someone to subscribe upfront; it's truly pathetic, really. Also, don't subscribe to me hoping that I'll do the same for reasons I've already explained.
